Who wants to see some silly cat faces? With Manna and Dexter around, there is an endless flow of laugh-worthy facial expressions. This week, Dexter gave me quite a few funny faces to share with you! If you are looking for a few of Manna’s funny faces, click here.
As Dexter has grown up, he has become an incredibly confident cat. He loves his humans, his home, his balcony, Manna, and everything about his life. He considers everything to be his property. If you meet him in person, Dexter is the first one to tell you how wonderful he is and show off his stuff.
This week, Dexter decided to express his love for one of the toy boxes. I pulled it out of the cabinet to let him choose some toys and he rubbed his cheeks all over it. Apparently, this corner is especially his because he rubbed on that corner really well (or maybe he had an itch). Just look at Dexter’s expression of love for his toy box!
Speaking of things that Dexter loves, Manna would be on the top of the list. She became his best friend the moment they met (even if it took her a little while to feel the same way). Now that he is bigger than she is, he likes to mess with her. He has a game where he will stare at her for a little while and then gently tap her on the nose with his paw. It gets her riled up every time!
Check out Dexter’s game face below. Manna knew exactly what was coming and she let him know all about it! She beat him to the pawing game this time around.
Simple toys are the best toys according to Manna and Dexter! One of the favorites around here is a simple plastic straw. If I set the straw underneath something that is on the ground and just let the end peek out, it is an irresistible game. With Dexter, I don’t even have to wiggle the straw around. He will chase it just because it is under something. These are always one of the first toys he will pick out from his toy box. See that kitty smile?
