It’s time for treats! There are no words that Manna and Dexter like to hear more than those ones. My cats will wake from a deep sleep and come running if the word “treats” is spoken aloud. Don’t tell them, but one of my secrets for getting them to go to the veterinarian willingly is to bring a bag of treats with me (and use them generously).
Naturally, Manna and Dexter love to review cat treats. It is one of their favorite parts of being blogging kitties! It is a great deal for them. The only downfall is that it is very difficult to take a great looking photo when you’re eating (which is true for humans too). Savoring all of those delicious treats can cause all kinds of funny facial expressions. For example, Dexter is looking a little upset about not being able to open the treat bag in the photo below.
Dexter isn’t the only one that makes funny faces when they eat. Manna is the queen of silly facial expressions. I believe that Dexter has learned everything he knows from her. Those big round eyes give her a lot of emotional range. Just look at her surprise when I told her there were actually 3 different flavors of Mitzi Munchers cat treats!
The cats talked me into it. I actually did end up opening all 3 flavors of Mitzi Munchers cat treats for them to try during our photo shoot. Their favorite was the Albacore Tuna flavor.
With each bag of treats, I took out a few treats and broke them up for the cats to enjoy (they prefer smaller pieces). Dexter, being the larger of my 2 cats, didn’t care about the size of the treats as much as Manna did. That advantage meant he was able to get to them faster and thus, eat more of them. Manna didn’t feel that this was fair at all! Little does Dexter know, but I gave Manna few extras behind his back!
