Raspberries anyone? Dexter has been in the mood to give raspberries to everyone since we got home from the BlogPaws Conference. Being adored by all of those people has inflated his little kitty ego a bit. He has always thought that he was awesome, but now he knows it!

Dexter had done some pipe cleaner art this week. Pipe cleaners are some of his favorite toys. It is cute to see him sneak up on them and attack them. He bent his pipe cleaner all out of shape! When he was done, he left it in the middle of the living room for all of us to see. This pipe cleaner sure learned its lesson.

Since I’m quite the mischievous kitty mom, I found the pipe cleaner, straightened it out, and laid it right next to Dexter. Dexter was quite offended by the straight pipe cleaner laying next to him. He immediately when to twisting and bending the pipe cleaner. How dare it be straight! ┬áThis offense was worthy of sticking his tongue out at.

Dexter: “You’ll never win, pipe cleaner! Pbbbtttt!”

Due to Dexter’s mouthy nature, it wasn’t long until he decided to lick the pipe cleaner. This kitty puts everything in his mouth. Not only was the pipe cleaner offensive for having been straightened out, it also needed to be groomed! I must have made it dirty when I straightened it out. At least Dexter was kind enough to make sure that the pipe cleaner was well-groomed.

Dexter: “This does kind of taste good….”

A tongue-out post would never be complete without seeing the full kitty tongue! Here it is on full display for everyone to see! Dexter is very proud of his good dental hygiene. See all of those pearly whites?

Dexter: “Want to see my tonsils?”
