It all started with catnip. I think that if my cats were to write a story, that is the line it would begin with. There is so much that happens around here because someone got a good whiff of the ol’ nip. I love being in a home with catnip lovers.
Manna has been the chief catnip tester around here for almost her whole life. Cinco loved his catnip too, but Manna really goes wild for it. She is the type of cat that will get huge buggy eyes, roll around on the floor, and get a little manic while taking in a good dose of catnip.
Dexter, on the other hand, didn’t show any signs of liking catnip at first. At about 6 months old, he finally got his first catnip high. It didn’t last long, but it was really precious. Manna was so confused! He enjoyed catnip on and off after that. Our Secret Santa Paws got him a catnip banana that he absolutely loves!
Call Catnip Annonymous! In the past month, Dexter has become a true catnip addict. He digs the catnip toys out of the toy box. Not a catnip leaf goes unlicked! I just love his catnip tongue. He has a habit of licking his lips over and over after he has gotten into some catnip. There are so many cute photos that come of this habit!
It turns out that Dexter is just as funny as Manna is when gets a catnip toy. I pulled this little green mouse out of the catnip vault and he couldn’t help himself. He rolled around, licked it, bunny-kicked it, and started picking slow motion fights with everything around him. The ball track sure got what was coming to it – very slowly and in the laziest way possible.
