Happy Labor Day Weekend!
Can you believe that the end of Summer is already here? Around here, the night time is already falling to 40°F (5°C). We’ve reached the last hurrah before all of the colors change (it’s very beautiful here in late September).
Manna and Dexter plan to make the most out of the long weekend! They are the hard working co-CFOs (Chief Feline Officers) of Playful Kitty. It can be a tough job helping to create Niptoons, testing products, being cuddly, modeling, being my nurse kitties, saving me from evil insects, and
playing and making mischief making sure I get plenty of exercise.
Cats know how to relax better than any human out there. Manna intends to sleep in the sun puddle that hits my bed as often as possible. She knows that as the days begin to get shorter, that sun puddle doesn’t hang around very long. Manna will probably catch a few last sun rays on the balcony too. In a few weeks, it will be a little too chilly for naps outside. Fun battles with my husband are also on Manna’s agenda. She has been a bit mellow since we got Dexter but lately has been coming out of her shell again.
Dexter’s Labor Day weekend plan undoubtedly involves napping too, but he wants to get some use out of his new peacock feathers. I’ve had to be creative in storing them because Dexter loves them so much that he will do just about anything to get to them. He will also want to get in a little time on the balcony before it gets too cold. He’s still too little to be out there without me, but he loves to say hi to the neighborhood kids. A bunch of them congregate outside when they see me come out with him. They like to talk to him and ask me questions about him. Manna is not as impressed with mini humans.

I finished the word search in 1 minutes and 07 seconds. Can you do it faster? I got a score of 160 again, so that is still not working correctly.
