Some very lucky kitties!
This month Cinco & Manna got their wish – to review more treats! I believe these two spoiled kitties have had more treats this month than they usually get in 6 months. They have loved every single moment of it too. It can take several treats to get that perfect photo for the review! March is going to have to be an exercise month. MOL
Reviewing treats isn’t always as easy with these two as it looks. Cinco is a true treat lover, but Manna can be harder to convince. Sometimes she won’t eat something until she sees Cinco eat it ( or me if it is a human-safe treat). Neither one of them with touch anything that isn’t chicken. We have just started working with them to broaden their horizons a little bit. They have turned up their noses at some chicken treats before too. Luckily, these last few treats have been a hit.
I’ve yet to find the pattern in the treats/foods they don’t like, but there are some factors that I think go into it. The cats are particular about the protein/flavoring, size of the treat, and texture of the treat. On my end, I hope to find treats that are as nutrient packed as possible. It’s okay to have a little junk food now and again, but I don’t want them having it on a regular basis.
