A Hydrated Kitty is a Happy Kitty!
Yesterday’s post was all about how you can help your kitty’s health by feeding them a moisture rich diet. Unlike humans, cats don’t get much of their water from drinking water directly. For a cat to get all of the water it needs, it must be eating food that is full of moisture (prey caught in the wild is about 75% moisture). Dehydration can cause a lot of serious and painful problems for a cat’s urinary tract system. Nobody can be a playful kitty when they don’t feel good! Pull out the wet food and come play a game with us!
