Happy New Year!

Tonight we get to leave the old year behind and start a brand new one. May 2017 be a pawsome year for all of us! Manna, Dexter, and I have hopes for a lot of great things to come.

It has been a tough year in some ways. Most pressing for us – the passing of our beloved Cinco. Nothing ever prepares you for the loss of a loved one. He’ll live forever with us in our hearts. His life has given us some inspiration for goals in the New Year. There is no better way to repay the love you’ve been given than to pay it forward to others.

While there have been lows, this year also brought some amazing things. We’ve welcomed Dexter into our home and our lives! I couldn’t possibly be more grateful for the beautiful relationship that has developed between Manna and Dexter. We also got to give Playful Kitty a great (and still evolving) makeover. You can expect a blog post about our goals for 2017 coming up this week!

Christmas was so much fun that Manna and Dexter are going to take it easy for New Year’s Eve. Dave and I will be out offering our services to help intoxicated people get home safely. The kitties will have plenty of treats and playtime before we leave for the evening. Catnip will be flowing! They will be ready to lay down by the time the ball drops.

I finished the word search in 1 minute and 30 seconds. Can you do it faster? ProProfs (the service I use for the word searches) says that they will be fixing the scoring very soon. Currently, you are receiving points per word that you find rather than by how quickly you find them. That is why everyone always gets the same score.

Instructions for the Interactive Word Search

(Click here if you can’t see the word search below)

  • Words from the word list on the right are hidden within the puzzle. The words may be spelled forward, backward, or on a diagonal.
  • Click on the first letter of the word, drag the cursor across the word and click on the last letter of the word.
  • The puzzle is finished once you have found all of the words.

What are you and your kitties doing to celebrate New Year’s Eve?
