The Ghost Song of Christmas Past

Today I have a bit of a Christmas memory to share! Around this time in 2013, Playful Kitty was about 3 months old. I was still working hard on figuring out the whole “blogging” thing (actually, it is a never-ending learning process).

Manna inspired me to try something silly. As much as she likes to be photographed, she does not like to take selfies with me. So, I decided to record a Christmas carol parody “written by Manna”. I even tried to sing it as her. If I ever did a remake (or more parodies by Manna), I think I would just stick with my usual singing voice.

The song I chose to let Manna parody was “Let It Snow”. Manna’s parody Christmas Carol was all about how she didn’t want to take any more selfies with me. Her sentiment was “Let Me Go”.  There are some little parts with her speaking to me or Cinco (her kitty brother, RIP) off camera embedded for humor.

Here’s a look at the video! Wow, my photos and audio have come a long way. Enjoy!

“Let Me Go” (Manna’s Christmas Carol Parody of “Let It Snow”)

The night’s just right for napping,

but Momma’s camera’s snapping.

And I thought that I told her “no”.

Let me go, let me go, let me go.

It doesn’t show signs of stopping.

Why can’t she go out shopping?

Photo shoots really blow.

Let me go, let me go, let me go.

When she gets in the bed tonight,

she will pay for the wrong that she’s done.

Her fingers and toes I’ll bite

and onto her bed I will run.

I ate Mom’s decorations

and I really test her patience.

Mom, if you still love me so

let me go, let me go, let me go.

When she gets in the bed tonight,

she will pay for the wrong that she’s done.

Her fingers and toes I’ll bite

and onto her bed I will run.

I ate Mom’s decorations

and I really test her patience.

Mom, if you still love me so

let me go, let me go, let me go.

Let me go! Let me go! Let me go!

I finished the word search in 1 minute and 50 seconds. Can you do it faster? ProProfs (the service I use for the word searches) says that they will be fixing the scoring very soon. Currently, you are receiving points per word that you find rather than by how quickly you find them. That is why everyone always gets the same score.
