The Blogaversary celebration isn’t over yet! Cinco and Manna thought that we should share something that all kitties could enjoy for our party. What is a meowbox?

A meowbox is a monthly box full of surprises for your cat! No need to drive to the store, meowbox delivers straight to your home. Each meowbox comes with 5 or more (usually 6 or 7) hand-picked, high quality items from meowbox’s brand partners. The items are different every month! Currently there are 38 brand partners working with meowbox. Here are just a few of those brands (to see a full listing click here):

Items that come in the meowbox could be anything from edibles to toys to wearables and grooming products. Brands and products are carefully researched before they are considered for inclusion. The safety of the cats they serve is very important to meowbox. All edible products must be made in the United States or Canada. As far as the non-edible products, products made in the United States or Canada are given preference.

My Experience with meowbox

I Cinco and Manna had the pleasure of being given a meowbox to review. On the 15th of August I received an email from meowbox letting me know that the meowbox had been shipped to me and it could arrive in as few as 2 days.  Just as it was promised, it arrived 2 days later via USPS. Manna was immediately thrilled and wouldn’t leave the box alone. She knew for sure that this box was for her. Cinco was thrilled later when he came out of hiding (he got scared when the mailman knocked on the door). The box was sturdy and very easy to open.

As I opened the box and began taking photos for this review, Manna jumped inside the box. She could wait no longer. It was actually pretty difficult to get photos of the contents of the box because she was so excited about it. The inside of the box lid had a hand written greeting to Cinco and Manna. There were 6 great items inside the box:

  • 2 packets of Licks pill-free solutions (Hairball and Home Feeding Aid)
  • A catnip fish toy from Eco Pup
  • Salmon Snacks from Snack 21
  • A catnip kicker from the Empurrium
  • A pouch of Healthy Indulgence Turkey & Duck from Wellness
  • A Taffy Roll cat toy from Hauspanther

All of the items arrived sealed in their packages (if they had one) and in full ready-to-use order. Everything was nicely wrapped in tissue paper. Also included in the box was a postcard sized sheet that listed all of the products that were in the meowbox as well as the companies they came from and the websites of those companies.

As I anticipated, Cinco and Manna loved the catnip toys the best . They actually took them out of the box and ran away with them. I had to catch them and cut the tags off. All of the toys have so far stood up to some pretty playful kitties. The cat nip kicker has been licked until soaking wet a few times and it is still going strong. Everything in the box checked out to be from either the U.S. or Canada. No icky recall treats! There are things in here that I would definitely reorder. Cinco and Manna give meowbox 8 paws up!
