Cinco & Manna’s Opinion
Cinco and Manna received the Complete Health Indoor Health Deboned Chicken & Chicken Meal Recipe and the Divine Duos with Chicken Pâté & Diced Duck to try.
Our trial started with the Complete Health Recipe. Cinco and Manna eat mostly wet food and a little bit of dry food. I placed a bowl of their usual dry food next to a bowl of the Wellness Complete Health food. They went straight for the Wellness food! Consistently over the 2 weeks we have been testing the foods, Cinco and Manna have chosen Wellness over their normal dry food. I love that the ingredient list is so protein focused. We plan to make the switch to Wellness.
Next we tried the Divine Duos. I fed them each a container of the Divine Duos and they sniffed it a little, then gobbled it up! Then I decided to give them a plate that had 1/2 a can of their usual wet food and 1/2 a container of the Divine Duos each. Both of them ate their usual wet food first, but went on to eat all of the Divine Duos food as well. I absolutely love the high moisture content of the Divine Duos. These foods definitely get the Playful Kitty seal of approval.
well I will be honest here. I don’t spend a lot of time searching for cat food. I go to Sams club and get them a 25 LB bag of Meow Mix, they both seem to like it. They’ve has that food for over a year now.
I’m glad to hear that your kitties like their food. A lot of people don’t think too much about their pets’ food. I do think about food a lot. Just as I am trying to change and give myself better health through a better diet, I am doing the same for my cats. Unfortunately, the pet food industry often gets away with putting some pet foods out there that have little to no nutritional benefits for our pets. It’s almost like if you were to eat a diet of all potato chips.
Well said Robin. I used to not think too much about it but, all three of my cats were getting overweight, and one was downright obese. The vet said if we couldn’t afford a better kibble, at least switch to wet food to increase their fluid intake.
Thank you! So true. I am doing my best to switch my cats over to wet food. I’ve been learning a lot about the benefits of wet food over the last year, but convincing the cats hasn’t been easy. Training me and my husband to feed the cats on a schedule hasn’t been easy either.
Looks like great stuff! We feed Merricks Grain free to our kitties, and they do great on it, but I have heard wonderful things about Wellness too!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Wellness has a lot of great foods. I’ve heard good things about Merricks too. It is good to see pet food companies stepping up to the plate and providing real nutrition for our furbabies.

We eat Wellness canned food when we aren’t eating raw. It sure is yummy! We will have to give the new Duos a try.
Sounds like you guys get a lot of good food! The Duos are definitely worth a try. If Cinco and Manna will eat it, any kitty will eat it MOL

You are welcome! I’m sure that you will love the Wellness foods. You’ll get to feel good about eating them too because they have such great ingredients 🙂
I can’t wait!! *(purrs)*
Moosey eats Wellness minced chikcen, as recommended by his vet. He’s picky, and he eats Wellness better than the other ones she (his vet) said to try. 🙂
I’m glad that Moosey loves Wellness 🙂 At least he chose a healthy food to enjoy. Cinco and Manna are picky too. I’ve done a lot of taste tests with them. Sometimes they just look at me like “are you serious?” MOL
Yummy! I think I got the same dry food as you did. Glad your kitties liked it 🙂 One of the vets I used to work with was a fan off Wellness foods.
I’ve seen a few comments about veterinarians recommending Wellness. That’s really cool 🙂 I wasn’t sure what my cats were going to think (they always surprise me). I’ve had them taste test a lot of different foods and there have only been a couple that they would take more than a bit or two from. I was really surprised when they actually ate all that I gave them.
